I Miss You Dad

As sands of time pass by,
We have grown big,
But still kid at heart,
Not able to realize,
How things moved so fast!

Along with tune of time,
I think of that rhyme,
That brings out the music,
Of love & joy in the air.

Words are not just to be written,
Expressions are not just to be shown,
Indeed both are to be felt.

Some melody to hear,
Some light soup to drink,
Some books to read,
That calms down,
Everything that one has undergone.

This feeling isn’t to be left,
Just like that,
For the person you are,
You mean a lot to me!
To miss you,
Is to miss a heart beat,
To miss the smile of the new born child,
To miss concern of a mother,
To miss a care of a friend!

If you were there now,
Surely I would have told you,
Still I love you,
It’s inexpressible,
That’s why I say,
To miss you,
Is to miss life.

Tears are hidden,
For don’t want the memories to get wet,
And become saddening,
So cherish the moments,
And love him till last!
Till last breath & even after that!
