Welcome Home

My heart feels the beat
My nostrils flare wide
Like butterfly's wings
They begin to dance

The long road ahead
Our playground destiny
BRC grows closer
Cars piled high
so are family

Anxiously waiting
As we are seen
Expression comes alive
Even the dust swirls
anticipation
As memories crawl
In mind of the smiles
The starry twinkle
In virgin dust filled eyes
Wake up

Search for light in darkness
Our costumes sparkle
in the black night sky
costumes and furs flow
Riding our glow bikes
Feet laced up in boots
step new to the ground
Like little kids dress up
our coming home party
We dance

Spinning along the road
We find the center
Of random art and people
scattered in a playland
Like a Dali dream
Or Alice in her wonderland
Greeted by the Man
and his statue physic
Stuck to the bottom
Like concrete shoes
meant to keep us still
Bigger than life itself
We are in awe of you

virgins sacrificed
We are together
Like wild flowers
in a golden meadow
We Bow in the breeze
Shield the majestic light
From our eyes

Playa family born
Love glances comfort
Heart to heart we connect
Like an electric surge

Carrying our love higher
than a mountain top
Or dust particles
that fall in every crevice
always there
in spirit, mind, eternal heart
Long after our visit ends

Clinging to memories
of laughs, loves and tears
We are thirsty
For photos that capture
That exact moment
When the world made sense
Our existence real
purpose discovered
love in its infancy

We awake sober
And red eyed
Fully clothed
Wanting caffeine veins
Ready to bring us back
Unconditional love created
Friends become family
Our Love is arms deep
From the first peach bite
Your juice slowly drips down
Stickiness to your elbow
The Raw realness clings
As tears shed sadness
Until our spirit family
Returns home again.
