look at the time and you haven't call
tell me baby, do you care at all?
why you would want to hurt me
i did everything correctly

'Child'

poor child who is all alone
she lives on the streets, she has no home,
seacheing for food everywhere she goes
she walked miles and miles very slow

I fed her so many times
but some how she wants more
i told her not to commit any crime.
she look at me unsure.

she goes from door to door
asking for what the poor askes for,
she said 'my lady i'm so hungry,
give me something to eat or i'll be angry'

the lady refuses her poor cry
she said'go away and let me try
to attend to my own child'
deceitful lady, unhappy child
where once alone creul and mild.

I walked along the side -work
there she stood looking at me
her lips moved up and down trying to talk
she looks so hungry.

I treated her like my own child.
she grew up to be such a beautiful girl
she was no longer cruel and mild,
and now she is my whole world.
