Comments about Kathy McKay
And When I Awoke....
Lying in twisted sheet abandonment.
Bastardised visions and beautiful angels
curling around a morning after the night before.
With bleary-eyed contentment
we realised who we were.
Standing up for all my stumbling,
safeguarding this poetic vulnerability,
letting myself fall in the sunshine.
A choice bound to be chosen
because breaths began to suffocate
and so much forgiveness made me unravel.
I grasp at joy unleashed by precarious living.
I fear words thought too heavily.
I dream of suburban jungle gyms.
Reminded of ghosts I’m too ...
