Damn Me

When I’m not self destructing
I’m back constructing words
For your elucidation
As I eat stale biscuits
With black tea and remember
From the past, its better
Not to raise a hand or your voice:

I realise the best plan of action
How to erase those memories
Is recommence the process
Of self destruction, annihilation;
I love to hide away in the dredges
Of so many bottles
Climbing the thorny hill
No way to get my fill
Being blue is my only thrill
Or popping blues yet still:

To dine and wine with the sloth’s of disgrace,
The lecherous...
