I tried my best to hold you
When you fell into my arms
Till the moment you left me there
I am fine, but I feel hurt

emotions rocking my body
i held on when you said no
with my heart in your hands
it sank right into the ocean bed

it feels as though someone stabbed me right into my heart
someone pumped so much sadness into me

it hurts

You lifted me up
Put my feet on yours
Looked me in my eyes
We danced through the night.

Thoughts running through my mind
My love for you, my heart is true
I miss those touch and kisses
Are you coming home soon

hidden behind a translucent veil
you can't see, you can't tell
everything you need, everything you want to know
we are constantly hidden behind a facade of ego
...

when two became one,
the rain washed away my tears.
plain and simple, everything's a lie
you cheated on me.

Saw you lying on the hospital bed.
I called out to you, with hope and faith.

Soft, gentle breaths you took.
