Kwasi Ankomah Biography

Kwasi Ankomah, is a young African poet from Ghana. I am a Senior High School(OPASS) student in Ghana, Koforidua.I was born by farming parents Mr. and Mrs Asante on 21 September,1994 in Ghana, Accra. However, I started writing at age seven(7) after learning how to read and write. I spend much time reading in the library and watching birds fly. I love reading, writing and sharing of knowledge.)

Knowledge

KNOWLEDGE
I am knowledge
Very powerful but not,
When not shared.

Wisdom is my root
And understanding,
My heart.

Without me you are first
Like a mirror in the dark
But wit me you are a mirror in the sun.

I am your nous
Like the naked full moon
In the womb of clouds of gold.

I am as old as the sun
And young as a new dawn
I am the light of wisdom.

The more you read
The brighter I shine
And the more you learn the higher I burn

To illuminate the faculties of your soul
Mind or nous like the O moon in the yellow clouds
I think I am, thence I am.
