True Love

You left me here broken and shattered,
Feeling like I never even mattered,
All I wanted was for you to love me,
But all you see is just another body,
Left me wallowing in pain and sorrow,
But i look for a brighter tomorrow,
You've given my life meaning,
You're with me even when I'm dreaming,
These feelings I have will only be for you,
Just wish you would see that my love is true,
I learn more about you all the time,
The path is rough but its worth the climb,
I keep these feelings under lock and key,
Though they long to be set free,
how I feel I must hide,
To keep what we have well and alive,
The feelings I wish I could say,
But to protect you I lock them away,
Though my love continues to grow,
The truth I feel you may never know,
The love I feel will always stay true,
My only true love will forever be you
