The Switch
The Switch
Lost in the world, like I am fumbling around in the dark
With my hands suspended in the air, hoping to stumble upon the light switch
While listening for the sound of the flick of a switch, life happen
the seconds turned to minutes, minutes into hours, hours into days, days into winters
Snow fell, as I fell into the abyss of the cold loneliness
Until, I stumble upon eyes that shine brighter than any light
With the smile of a thousand suns,
As well as the warmth of a heart to end all winters
Stumbling, and fumbling around, dragging feet day by day no longer
No more searching in the dark, I've found the light.
