The Lord Won'T Put No More On Me Than I Can Bear

The Lord won't put no more on me than I can bear

I walk thru the snow
And yes I know it's cold...

People say I'm cruel
Because what I had to do...

I had to give away my kids toys today...
Not because they didn't deserve it...
Not because I'm trying to be unfair...

You see I lose my job about a month ago...
And I knew this time I couldn't put a smile on their face...

Times got hard and I didn't know how...
But my babies need to eat...

People stop judging what you think you see...
This is not another baby momma drama story and the man ran out on his kids...

I lose my husband about six months ago and the kids had a dad that cared...

He kept a roof over our head with food and clothes too...

But now he's gone with no insurance to make it do what it do...

So I had to do my best with the job that I had... and that job failed me too.

So as I truck thru this snow to make it to the church house to pray, I'll smile again one day because the Lord will provide for us soon...

This I do pray...
