The Blues Man

I listened for a blues man way down by the track,

He was playing De Dum Di Dum and singing from an old railroad shack.

He is a boxcar Guitar man slipping from freight to freight,

Always avoiding the Bossman and never paying at the gate.

His coffee taste, s like moonshine and his scrawny chicken taste, s like goose,

His boots are really Gucci and this rat tastes like moose.

The scarecrow is his audience and the moon his shining light,

He grips the fret tightly' and De Dum di dum' De Dum escape, s into the night.

He has treaded so many rail tracks his eye, s are paralell line

He sings the Blues throughout the night and everything is fine.

I love to sing the Blues man I love to do it loud,

I want my boxcar buddies to feel a little proud.

His fingers dance off the strings like a skimming across a pool,

The Blues man called the piper, De Dum Di Dum and everything's Cool.

I listened for a blues man way down by the track,

He was playing De Dum Di Dum and singing from an old railroad shack.
