Loveless Humor

Through the mist vows of terror were made,
through love the solace of hate has festered into an all knowing being
one capable of disaster, injustice, and fear.
The land lay barren and cold, red and meek with hunger for more warriors who have fallen onto her field.

why? oh God why have you left me like this. do you know this pain my merciful being?

I want to love this sullied Earth again along with its transient ideals of dreams.
such dreams that lead the strongest man astray.

But you stand before me covered in your enemy; the bodies, meer chess pieces beneath you feet. I want to scream but the words won't come out.

I want to breath but the tears make it hard,

I want you back but I know you are slowly dissolving away along with the memories of our past

our friendship

our future

Kill me and leave me to die in the moonlit night.
For I'd rather be cold and alone then see another friend die...
