Unrequited Love

You don't even know my feelings
You don't even know that I am dying inside
Everytime I cheer for you
Everytime your eyes follow her
I never knew how bitter love could be

In the crowd you asked her out
Where everyone looked at you
When I was next to her
'I love you. Please go out with me'
It was so sweet and so pure
I should be happy for you and her
She almost cried
She smiled and nodded
While I stood there faking a smile and congratulated her.
I was dying inside
I knew it was going to happen
But it was just too fast
Why is she always the one?
Why not me?
"I love her smiles"

I understand how pretty her smiles are
The smiles that I can't make

Everyone said to you and your new girlfriend
Even the math teacher was happy for you guys
Did anyone else die inside?
