About Angels and Loved one’s leaving this earthly plane

Angels are among us
They come to us in all forms
Be it big or small
Whether we take notice of it at all
They are there in times of need
Most choose to ignore
The subtle signs all around us
But you need not ask
For they know
And are always around
The smell of flowers in the air
For no reason at all
The small white feather
That falls at your feet
The gentle wisp of a breeze
That you only feel
The silent quietness of an animals touch
Just there when you need it most
A certain song that touches your soul
In the most unexpected times
Just take a look at the innocence
Of a small child and the warm touch
Of there tiny little hand in yours
The innocent angelic laughter
That they possess
For I have no doubt there are angels among us
I have certainly experienced these
In the span of my life

For Nana, who passed away.

May peace come too you
As you drift away
And leave your earthbound place
Be not afraid
For you are not alone
You have the love of us left behind
To gently guide you
Where you need to go
