Memories

The love we had was all I needed.
You decided to give up and leave all we ever seeded.
The love is lost and the plants are dead.
So now I just have a memory playing in my head.
I thought you cared enough to make it right.
Just turns out you're just out of sight.
I had the future planned for the best
But now you're just gone before we finished the test.
The pictures that you left are faded.
So now im sitting here shaded.
I wished for the light.
Instead its just fright.
I wake up some mornings thinking of you.
But then I realize you really don't have a clue.
How I felt for you was amazing.
Now im sitting here just star dazing.
Nothing can change with the world full of pain.
Ill just be wrapped up in a thing called chains.
I hope the best for you in your life.
So one day you will maybe have a beautiful wife.
All I have is memories of you and me.
It just wasn't meant to be I see.
