Our Fight And Loss

My sibling bond is severed, in the shadow of her fight,
This dual of good and evil, of the darkness and the light,
The ripples of her battle, will now never leave our lives, our family torn apart with such an awful mortal strife.

A soul so good and pure, just must prevail victor,
Verse such a vicious enemy and it's army of more and more,
Watching that good soul, succumb to their attack, so painful and so drawn, no sight will ever match.

Once what must be, has been, reflection starts to ache,
Sets in now a deep hurt, thats kept itself at bay,
Its only then that one dawns, that you're bearing your own scars, from standing side by side, in the battle you now mourn.
Come the sleepless nights and these unconscious days, now everything around you, a reminder of what may,

Yet don't despair I urge my peers, for there is a distant light,
One that shines so brightly for the alive and lost of life,
Remember that love surpasses, these physical constraints we bear,
Our love continues in another realm, and nobody leaves there.

My beautiful, beautiful little sister, stolen from this earth, but rushed to where she's needed, with the angels of our world.
