The Millennium Is Near

As one sees the signs, the omens,
He is sure to realize
The millennium is drawing very near.
Predictions are unfolding
As the Bible said they would, although, at times, they are not very clear.
But nation has fought against nation-
Proving wars and rumors of war,
While famines and earthquakes cannot be denied.
False prophets with cunning
Have led souls astray,
And the evils of wickedness have been multiplied.
Oh, there is no denying
The millennium is near,
When descending to the earth upon a cloud,
With every eye upon Him
And with Angel trumpets loud,
Will come the Lord of Glory!
Come with power and great Glory!
That He may claim and gather as His own-
The chosen ones, the righteous,
The ones whom He will save
To be with him when He ascends His throne.
