M Mostaqul Haque Poems

[1]
Waiting for a change
Waiting for the best
A result based mission -
...

Night fades I should awake
Ears don’t hear me
It is sleep and sleep
Becomes deep and deep
...

[A]
I'm to her – yes, to her
Can't you remember?
Why do you allure me with youth smooth
...

Hail the human globe
Let's stand for right and strictly ban the fight
Ensure peace for all - the unique earth is ours
Oh! Forward March and look onward
...

[A]
Orchid on the mango tree
Like a nymph with full moon skirt
Dazzling invite of the moment
...

So sweet the name was! I liked it
Instantly I loved, I fall in love with
The art arrayed so enthusiastically
Like a beautiful girl with fullest youth
...

Smooth as fair ladies shoulder sloping
I wandered with romantic steps
The offshore air whispered twice
Why the charm is so powerful?
...

A sudden cease took place
In wandering aimlessly
A foreign romance in the heart
With my Egyptian friend
...

Much I discovered during my dream -
A tour to Bangla Town – Brick Lane
Shops displaying an array of fruit
Fresh vegetables reminds me
...

Wafted spring tumbled down in the epoch events
Crimson ray dispersed haphazardly
Over viewing the tundra slant from the prairie
Cinder psyche of Cinderella crackled
...

Nightmare in the brain haunts
Storm, storm a thunder shouts
Should insomnia lull like a mother?
What makes sea-goddess so angry?
...

The Diversion

[1]
Waiting for a change
Waiting for the best
A result based mission -
In thought, expression, hope and expectation
I want a suitable diversion.
[2]
Since hackneyed thoroughfare I pod
Marked and stereotyped
Old and cold altogether;
No zeal no wonders
Passing life in a format framed like a captive 10
Uttering lines once taught by the grand father
Nothing new for today
Nothing message for tomorrow
I am in an acute complacent suffocation
Need easy diversion - a distinct diversion.
[3]
I go to revolution and reformation
To alternation and correction
No tyrant is here, only self contradictions
Whom should I protest or revolt against?
Shattering the reveries 20
I see the sordid perspectives
With much owe and wonder
I cast my eyes to the limitation
Yes, I need a uniform diversion.
[4]
'How far is the oasis- my shelter? '
Often cries the soul
'How long is the destination? '
Asks the mind frequently
Determination ventures forward
Like a feudal lord with gifted valour 30
Like a warrior death swearing for freedom
I take step, walk and march for my secret dream
No imaginative cream, I erect a concrete beam
Close to the antique edifice.
[5]
The path known is crowded always
The idea popular does not work well
Life like a flower should blossom
Why is it at the fading point every moment?
Shunning every day hesitation
I take step with appropriate diversion. 40
[6]
Linked with past and present
Mixed with feeling of my fellows
I must hear the heart of the soil, my Mother
With a breath sacrificed long ago
To mould the present - shape the future
For a heaven green with garden and stream
Breaking man made barrier, a dirty situation
I take the bold diversion.
[7]
I march and march onward
Searching the way appropriate 50
To catch the dream is a fight tough
To face the reality I strongly stand.
