A Light In The Dark

I see a flicker of Light,
in the midst of the surrounding Darkness
I cling to its feeble strength,
relishing in its
Familiarity.

The long
Forgotten
memory
of Happiness,
and of
Hope.

The Light is frail,
and small,
yet i draw strength from it,
knowing,
somehow,
that if I let it go
the Darkness
will
crush
me.

I hold the Light close,
clutching it
to my
Bleeding Heart.
And i look out into the Darkness
the
never-ending sea
of memories.

My Memories.
And the Memories
of thousands
of other
Suffering Souls,
who all saw the same Light,
which,
rejected by
many,
continued
its
search.

Its
Search
To
Save
A
Life.

And it
came
to Me.
