The Light Of Day

Will I ever see the light of day?
They're all telling me to go away,
they don't listen to a word I say,
When I save the day,
all the others steal the runway,
trying to pretend that it's all ok,
It doesn't matter anyway,
nothing I say,
seems to sway,
all the hearsay,
that they say,

Will I ever see the light of day?
No one listens to a word I say,
I won't ever see the light of day,
it doesn't matter anyway,
Sometimes all you need is the light of the moon,
And I'll fly off like a balloon,
And I'll eventually pop,
when I'm higher than the raindrops,
Becoming just a dot in the backdrop,

I won't ever see the light of day,
But now I know that that's OK,
The moon will still shine,
And behind it the stars align,
Sometimes just the moon is fine

Madison Renick Quotes

Evil is the demon inside each one of us. The imperfections of the soul. It lives for enemies. But it doesn't die for kindness, it just gets very bored. It is the thing that inspires us to act wrong and to be horrible. But no one's soul is perfect, so it is inside every single one of us. In some of us, it is so deeply entwined that it isn't the imperfections of the soul, it is the soul. In others, the ones blessed, but trapped in the pigeonhole of angels, it is so small it is invisible. But it is always still there. In the majority of us, the Asphodel of the human race it is there just waiting, waiting, for when we face our enemies, or when we see a chance to be awful. Sometimes it still waits when it sees a chance to act as it knows it is a hopeless battle of convincing the mind. But it is always there.
