The Inescapable Fate
I died. And many others too
when the cold chill came over us.
Knowing never to return again we flew.
I had to go for it's always thus.
And leave you behind only woe...
To me, 'Death' is an insatiable grave;
devouring souls with its cold breath.
Every soul who once walked the earth brave
and ignorant in the face of death;
soon shall succumb to it as its slave.
But one should not take death amiss
for it takes your life and gives you bliss.
And if life without death may there exist;
then I at once would seek to desist...
