Song To The Pacific Ocean

Surf off and ride on Silver Spurs…
Sunset Golden waves and Paradise. Take off your hat
and be
as old as I am. Listen.

Measure the sun with the tip of your toes and let the Winds
brush back
your hair and lift up your skirt
and sing us a song
or the end of a song
And remember the sound of Jet Engines and the whistles of
Propeller-Blade
Symphonies… Blue eyed Queens and Cocktails. Lipstick stains on teenage
walls… Seagulls dressed in sugar Jackets.

Sing us the song of a traveling dream and Swing to the Waltz of the
waves
and remember Hockney and...
