Thinking Of You

He left for camp this morning.
Along with his many classmates.
A learning experience awaits him.

He will be gone for three days.
Seems like a long time to me.
For him, not long enough.

Already I miss him.
Just knowing he won't be home
after school today.

He will be too busy with all the
activities to miss me.
But when it's time for him to turn
in at the end of his day.
Then he will think of me.
