Hey You!

Hey You...have you even realised
my former dream and fantasy
not replaced but has taken second place
and its still the same old story
in my case - a repeat of the past
once again a friend - so close and dear
building a wall of memories
one by one as time moves on
but also a barrier to every dream
and delight I wsh to know with you.
You kidnapped and captured me
placed me in your world
you entered my dreams and fantasies
as though you always did belong
where we seem to fit so well
and nothing at all seems wrong
neither falling in love with you
moment by moment - day by day
as long as memories go on.
