A Little Bit More

The hat you wore on your head
The jacket I once wore, red
A moment spent in a boiler room
The beginning an internal doom
Crossing the fine lines between reality and dream
Completely in harmony, or so it seemed
Older you are
Attending the bars
Shooting the pool
Breaking the rules
Mature I am
Be better I can
In true love
Hence these feelings I must shove
The bites, the gentle nudges, the drawings in a script
In the end I know that, a little, both our hearts did rip
Nonetheless we will never part
I can assure a piece of my heart,
You...do...own.
One no one else will have
Your feelings to me you've shown
Star crossed thinkers we'll always be
Your hat and you, my jacket and me
Maybe one day, maybe...but until then
A lil' bit mo' man, A Little Bit More
