Many country roads I’ve traveled
A lifetime of them to be exact
No better place on earth to be
And my friend, that’s just a fact

Oh what fun it is to see
A carriage drawn by a horse
Even after all these years
You can find them still, of course

You know, it’s quite amazing
How different generations are
I heard stories from my grandma
They didn’t always have a car
...

They are coming up in my gardens
Why, just like wild flowers they grow
A delicious early spring splash of color
That’s why I really love them so
...

I drive down those rusty red roads
Enjoy the country scenes
Nothing could be better
It’s everything that I dream
...

Across the green fields
Up on the bluffs
High into the sky
A place I didn’t realize existed
...

I take out a photo of Grandma
Taken a long time ago
I feel the tears flood my eyes
Because I’ve loved her so
...

I have a tomato garden
That is flourishing and so sweet
I love to eat the ripened ones
As they’re such a delicious treat
...

I have a fascination
For women who walk the street
I wonder why they’ve chosen
To look for men to meet
...

f you’ve ever had a visit with a Zebra
It’s an animal that stands on its own
For there is nothing at all quite like it
As it nestles inside of its home
