I was born in pride and passion, and Providence made it clear
That honor, faith and justice came, when I brought freedom here
Today I stand at hearing rooms; I walk down hallowed halls,
'Mid echoes of those patriots who answered freedom's call.
I witness every courtroom, I record each choice that's made
I count the yeas, I count the nays, as every vote's displayed
I measure every entry.. Amendments, Acts and Bills,
I see the motions on the floor, and actions on the hill
I bow my head in wonder at the founders standing there
Guided by that Governor that kept them in His care
I cry aloud, "Oh God Above! I'm Glorified in frames!
But America ignores my every rule, and my wisdom is profaned! "
I travel down the highways, and dusty country roads
Looking for those minutemen who once stood brave and bold
I see the blood that stained the soil of hidden fields of pain
I shout to all! "Posterity calls! The Constitution is My Name! "
They pervert my laws, promote their cause and never read my lines
They've chosen sides with worldwide guides and history's new designs!
They claim devotion daily, they open "In God's Name"
But Morning Star and Setting Sun find puppets seeking fame.
My Preamble seeks His Blessings, and establishes my restraints
My freedom's thrust is man must trust and set truth at the gate!
They cover His commandments, they ignore His golden rule
They remove the words "In God We Trust"...a people God calls fools!
