Before I Let Go

Systems spiral slowly setting myself on course while i am finding substance in something new.
Retying with stronger reality all what matters of everything which snapped loose
Building on foundations that remained untouchable
The luck of time... untouchable

Shaped by every novelty experienced
I can so easily drift away from you
Pausing letting separation find its route
Moving forward, senseless without you

So I wait until i know...

When you noticed the colour change in my eyes did you see the shift in my soul
What windows are they then if looking in them made you blind
Drawing your pretty lines you pleadingly pushed me to shade
Do you know by now I create no beauty within compelled design
Your hands disintegrating over me trying to form
Have they opened now to what I really have to give?

But i become...

Smothering your judgments as i realize its my own
Reaping your weakening threat as i realize you make me grow
The past relives in every second, it drags at me but I still become
More of what i am by holding onto you.

Tears come in storms, when i finish its never gone
Although hollow i am left, I find comfort in letting go
How much more flaws should I erase
Before together we can become

I keep changing...

Growing into all I came to be... what lead me close to you
Because all of your dreams was once a wish of mine
Trusting I tie my fate to your age, as lyrics to our rhyme
I wait my heart, I go no further until I can go with you
