Mark Solares Poems

Don't turn from me Judas, I'll embrace your kiss,
and suffer your heart, the empty abyss.

Mark Solares Biography

Not much to say about myself. I started writing poetry when I was 13. My inspirations are: Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, Kurt Cobain, Micheal 'Eyedea' Larsen, George Watsky and Paul 'Sage' Francis. I'm religious in the sense that I believe in Jesus, its just sometimes we don't always get along. My poetry seems a little depressing but I'm trying to lighten it up. I had over 300 poems written, but my ex threw them away so..... I'm starting over.)

Don't turn from me Judas, I'll embrace your kiss,
and suffer your heart, the empty abyss.
I've seen that smile when I reminisce,
and hear the laughter, that I must resist.
I've accepted my loss, your sins are mine,
before I depart, in whispers confide.
Your secrets are safe with this false shrine,
theres nothing in me, you should consider devine.
