Within a lab across the sea,
They formed a plan for you and me!
A witch's cauldron and a bat!
A strange concoction in a vat!

Philosophy in ancient times,
Was held in high regard.
The insights of antiquity,
The present can't discard.
...

A boy had fallen in a well,
His mother heard his cries.
A neighbor heard her call for help,
"Save him before he dies."
...

Sarah told her soldier she would write,
When Peyton's team shipped out to fight.
She knew before she married him,
That he would soon risk life and limb.

(Verse 1)
Daddy was a patriot,
Who wanted to do more.
A navy man at seventeen,
...

This is the story of a man
Who hailed from Magdala.
He served a great astrologer,
Who lived in Nineveh.
...

I don't know how it happened,
There's no explanation;
It was to be a routine
Bypass operation.
...

He came to me one sleepless night,
And caught me unaware.
Within the darkness of my room,
I saw him standing there.
...

I took a trip to the florist
On Christmas Eve last year.
And happened by a homeless man
Who's eyes were filled with tears.
...

The limit of man's five senses
Was studied and defined.
The measure of those senses are
As finite as his mind.
...

I'm addicted to my vises,
I am immersed in sin.
I am good at acting righteous,
Before the eyes of men!
...

Ernie was a hell raiser,
A daredevil of sorts.
He was popular in school,
A natural at sports.
...

Life is filled with uncertainty
As dangers come and go
Tomorrow has not been promised
It isn't ours to know
...

Some people are always trying
To leave an impression.
They use money and property,
Even their profession.
...

I feel the curtain descending,
My days growing fewer.
Twilight is an unwavering
Relentless pursuer.
...

If doctors found a cure for aging,
Would you take it?
If you could break that law of nature,
Would you break it?
...

The terror of the old west
Was Dirty Dan McGuire.
With a six gun, he was the best,
Like lightning he could fire.
...

Where has imagination gone?
It seems in short supply.
Our songs, our books, our movies too,
Have picked the market dry!
...

My wife got this invitation.
Said we needed a vacation.
So we headed up to the lake,
With her mama and step dad Jake!

Function Gained

Within a lab across the sea,
They formed a plan for you and me!
A witch's cauldron and a bat!
A strange concoction in a vat!

They stirred and stirred till their strength waned!
Then stirred some more, till function gained!
And what had been benign to man,
Was quickly let out of the can!

But it did not perform as they
Had said it would, in any way!
They had to borrow where they could,
To make their nasty brew look good!

And in a much contested year,
We watched the flu just disappear!
The common cold would also fade,
Accommodating their charade!

And even borrowing from there,
The wise would simply quash despair!
For ninety nine point six percent,
And an 'out of shape' president,

Survived what they proclaimed would be
The worst plague of the century!
Still, evil did exact a cost,
Much of our elderly were lost.

But evil was not satisfied.
Its conquest wouldn't be denied!
So they restricted human rights!
They quarantined their days and nights!

And then their plan evolved once more!
To earn those rights you had before,
You'll have to go behind the screen,
And take an unapproved vaccine!

Before you do, you'll have to sign
This waiver of our own design,
That guarantees you cannot sue,
No matter what happens to you.

And so the foolish and the scared,
All signed a deal that evil shared!
They took a jab that promised them,
Their chance of getting sick was slim!

And yet, in just a few months time,
The victims of this dreadful crime,
Would learn they still could catch the germ
A truth that science would confirm.

And that brings us to present day,
With talk of passports on the way.
And with this covenant from hell,
You'll have no right to buy or sell!

When passports change into a mark,
You'll know the times are getting dark.
You'll have to choose right then and there.
Choose wrong, and you won't have a prayer.

Faith in the Lord will keep you whole.
Only the Son can save your soul.
While evil men try many things,
To kill the flesh and clip your wings!

So cling to God with all your might!
If this becomes man's final fight,
He'll keep you safe from evil's goal,
Sustaining both body and soul.

The prophesy has been foretold,
And handed down from days of old!
The mark will make the guilty pay,
He'll separate the weeds that day.

If passports come, they'll be a sign,
For they're part of the beast's design.
A plan so long ago ordained,
Beginning when function was gained.
