Marko Skott

Marko Skott Poems

Have I suffered enough, Father?
If not, strike me down
Strike me down hard
Strike again
...

When I was nothing but a lifeless body
You helped me out from the deepest pit
And into the freedom
So, I promise you
...

I'm shaking
I'm cold
But, the pain is burning in my veins
I see no one
...

You came here to suffer from the first cry
And that I have given for whatever you try
And that you surely will have no matter
So, be prepared you soft nut under my hammer
...

I overheard
Don't worry the love will die
The other said why
My love can never die
...

A kiss of love you will have no more
A touch of heart you will feel no more
A look of longing you will see no more
A whisper of soul you will hear no more
...

I'm on a hospital bed
Trying to rest
But, it could be a madhouse floor
My mind is divided into two
...

The road is twisted
And all you see looks different
She went away
You had to let her go away
...

Strike Me Down

Have I suffered enough, Father?
If not, strike me down
Strike me down hard
Strike again
Hurt me all you can
Hit me
Kick me
Strangle me
Throw me into a gutter
Let it rain down on me
And, leave me to rot
