IıLness Consumes The Other
Illness consumes the other;
the smell of the air unsterile.
Within the stomach; the
disease churns. Unable to
settle; its getting worse.
The children play with no regard
as to how sick the other is;
as the other I know how ill the other feels.
Illness is eating away at the other;
and silently the other weeps within
her lonesomeness, inside the darkness
as the other slowly dies.
The other no longer breathes
as the other has now passed;
the spirit engulfs in flames,
leaving the infected corpse
to burn to ash.
