Transition Time

The days were once short and full of work yet now they are prolonged and stress free
I can feel the air changing all around me and I anticipate the excitement it will bring
Faces will slowly disappear and new ones will arrive
Some days will blur together as one but some will be daggers in my mind
I will no longer have to make time it will come to me with ease
Until finally I look back and realize what has just happened
Transition time is here once again
