I Am A Machine

I am a machine
I am a machine with no screw
I came with none extra
The crafters thought it wise
To leave me without it
To let me to rust
I am a machine with a screw loose

That hole has been filled,
Not with screw or nut or bolt
Not with metal or iron or copper
But with liquid persuasion and solid temptation
Like a coin slot goes another bottle
I am a machine and I must function
Machines can write
