Look To The Horizon

THIS IS THE BREAK OF DAWN (Written in the silence)
THAT SURROUNDS THE VAST SKY(Nothing more to loose)
NOTHING LEFT TO GAIN (The void still remains)
IN APATHETIC EYES (May the soul contrive)
OF A HEALING SOUND (That pierces the glow)
OF AN EMPTY BARREN PLACE (Silent, what a shift to be seen)
BY THOSE WHO WANDERED IN THIS DESERT (Of snow and ice)
THE COLD, THE FROST, NEVER TO DIE (There's no bitterness, nothing at all)
NOTHING CAN GROW (Where nothing is planted)
I SCATTERED THE SEED, BUT TOOK FOR GRANTED (The process of growth and the time to account)
FOR MY ACTIONS AND WORDS (Change comes slow to the fools that scatter the seed with with weeds)
IT NEVER TOOK, THE SEED DIED IN VAIN, ON THIS COLD WINTER'S DAY (We'll never be the same, we never once held onto the endings we painted)
I BURIED THE SEEDS WITH THE BODIES WE FOUND (Frozen in earth, the heart's flame is gone)
AND THE SEEDS ARE DEAD, START OVER AGAIN (The earth won't give way until the sun shines)
THE SUN NEVER SHINES, IT'S A CONSTANT GREY (Break through, break apart the clouds can't hold the sun forever)
THE SAID YOU'D NEVER DIE, THEY BURIED THEIR LIES (What a myopic gaze they hold, between the silence)
DESPITE THE LIES, WILL THE SUN EVER SHINE (It will if you simply open your eyes)
AM I THE FOOL, TO BELIEVE BLINDLY (Solace in the secret place of the life)
DO I NEED EYES TO SEE (My heart and breath shorter and shorter as death)
COMES FOR US ALL, WE BUILD THE WALL TO WATCH THE OLD ONE (Crumble beneath the weight of glory)
OH, THE PEN ISN'T EMPTY KEEP WRITING THE STORY (for now until eternity ends)
