Matthew Maher Biography

22 yrs old Currently serving my third year in the Army as Airborne Infantry. Served 14 months in Iraq and earned my combat infantrymans badge. April 30 is my last day in the Army and I will be going back to Reno Nevada to live with the love of my life and to go to college and study radiology at University of Nevada Reno. Lisa is the only reason I write poems and have them on here. If I dont write down and express it I feel I might burst from inside. You are the apple of my eye Lisa.)

If there was only one I could hold
Only one I could kiss
Only one to choose
To make me feel like this

It would be you everytime
No doubt about that
And I cant wait for the day
When I get to say Im back

I think about at night
and dream about all the times

But not for much longer
