Past/Present/Future

a new day and a fresh start
is all im asking for
to heal this broken heart,
and to open a new door.

the past is the past
but have no regrets
life is to fast
to not forgive and forget.

the lessons i've lived
only made me stronger
im glad i survived
but the past is no longer

i have grown-up
and live my life for me
i'm being straight up
and feel totally free

life is so crazy
to the point of being unexpected
im so glad the past is hazy
so my future is not affected

only god knows whats in store
though i wish for a sign
so i know what to prepare for
to keep my life in line
