Winter Days

Amidst the frosty chill of winter's days,
When icy winds blow and snowflakes fall,
The world is cloaked in a monochrome haze,
And nature's beauty comes to a call.

The barren trees, their branches stark and bare,
They bow and bend underneath winter's icy grip,
Yet in their stillness, beauty seems to appear,
A peacefulness that bids us not to skip.

The landscape's hues are muted, cold and soft,
Yet in the stillness of the winter air,
A certain magic lingers to behold,
That sets our hearts and souls alive with care.

Oh winter, though the season may seem bleak,
You still bring a beauty that we seek.
