Woman-Ness

A force to reckon with
that's what she should be called
basking in the essence
of all things pure and bold
her carriage is rather elegant
poise and grace well oiled with gold
upon the surface of her skin
engraved is compassion in every crease and fold
always staring her head, shoulders squared
and in her eyes is shimmery abunancf of stories untold
a mother she is you can tell
by the way she protect all young'uns from the cold
a priced jewel of the amazonians
leaving all senses in her wake itchy for discoveries to behold
oh what other ways could she be described
i'm at loss of words, what more feathers can her cap hold
she is the "The Woman"
the strength of her independence staggering even pillars cannot uphold
i want to be her
holding this much accolade even till i'm grey and old.
