The profoundness to the saying of what I want to say
"What was I thinking? "
or
"You'll never learn" …

Yeah, the man has it all
Good looks
Suave personality
His tongue is smooth
...

No, not mine. His.
Like the "others" he messaged me
Pursued me
Singled me out

The Best Poem Of Melody Paxton

Seriously Speaking

The profoundness to the saying of what I want to say
"What was I thinking? "
or
"You'll never learn" …
Because I haven't

In the distress of realization
I conclude that I am a vessel of dishonor
Where I should succeed I fail
"Positive over negative …"
Yeah, that's not me
The social media ghost that haunts me
He was the one I wished had gotten away
But me … it was ME!
"Like a dog that returns to its vomit …"
THAT is me!

The email that sent me back to that steaming pile
Now my stomach aches
To learn from one's mistakes is to know Solomon
In spirit of course
Even THAT is under contest
"That was corrupted! "
Isn't everything?
Maybe just me … spoiled, like spilt milk
I cry over it, weep for it, travail over the reality

So, what now you say?
Don't know.
Going into the garden to eat worms …
That. Is. All.
