Sonnet 2
Whom shall I spend my luxurious hours with?
Thou untamed heart now, where shall I seek thee?
Though many cold nights you are here with me,
Yet my arms can't touch thee at its full width.
Ay, thou are e'en if the great'st joy I've found,
And to whom I myself feign being loved,
So long ere thee come which I did not prove,
Thou art the long'st sorrow that seems less bound.
Less not till from this thou find honesty:
My assurance that you'll be mine again;
But if out of luck fail, it'll twice the pain
That to heart's eye'll blind through 'ternity.
So long as I can take consequences,
Truly I will love thee no more nor less.
