Rusted Rails

Four feet, eight-and-a-half inches
The two beams split apart
She had gone off her hinges
Her mind tore her apart

Her mind was destructive
It poisoned every thought
Her happiness was deducted
Depression she then fought

She lived inside a body
With a stomach bulging out
No wonder she was nobody
She was ugly inside out

She often thought of suicide
It was the ticket out
She was ready to say goodbye
Although the words never left her mouth

Many words of sorrow
Were written on her arms
No happiness to borrow
She caused her...
