Shadows

shadows creep and crawl all night
with us just saying we want our light
but shadows are the darkest places you can find
which always makes us want to hide

we crawl in bed waiting to sleep
but shadows cover our walls to keep
secrets are beyond our day which
makes the feelings stir up and enemys arive today

nightmares fill our heads with fear's
making our eyes flood with tear's
but we know we can fight this off
all we need is god to help us

we jump out of bed and start to pray
the shadows start to cry in pain
god helps us up to our feet
now we can hear our beat
