I can see my heart
Hidden under the skin
The flesh, the ribs
I see it anatomically
With its connecting tubes
Veiny red muscle
Beating
Squelching the blood
In
blue
out
red
Squelching
Slowly it changes colour
Turning black -

It beats harder trying
