Rivers, trees and people are now but a rare amusement.
Thoughts become his only friend as his voyage continues;
The voyage that must lead him to his promised land.
Wakeful nights prevent him from escaping to his dreams.
Those same dreams that often bring upon him an eerie silence.
A silence that finds voice with a sudden thunder
That shakes him to the very core of his being.
