Do Blind People Cry

I often ponder, Do blind people Cry?
God handed them blindness, they must wonder why.

Did they do something so terrible, in this world we live in?
For he rendered them sightless versus forgiving their sins.

They will never witness beauty, such as yourself.
Which needless to say is truly top shelf.

This gets me to thinking how blessed they must be.
While the one who was punished, perhaps that was me.

They will never have to endure, the effects of your smile.
The weakness in the knees, the racing heart for a while.

Over the years, one thing I'm reminded.
The desire for your love has left me disabled and blinded.

So now I have my answer, Do blind people cry?
Yes we surely do, and you're the reason why!
