Silent Love

How do we get to the love of silence?
Where speaking is forbidden and our lives
only function on the beats of our hearts, the air
and each others presence.


Where true love is just the beginning
and your soul stretches beyond the stars
just to get a look at how the heavens light is
shinning on your temple


Now you see the world for what it is worth
instead of what it has to offer. Your stride
begins to increase no more going through
the motions.


And in an instant you feel it. It hits you
like waves against rocks. Your hand no longer
trembles. Your mind is free and your legs are
weak. The sudden dropp to your knees raises
your body temperature and STOPS!


A sense of calmness has taken over your life
so now you that you hand no longer trembles
and your steps are strides and your world looks
different. Your body is warm and there is silence.


Nothing is wrong because you have the beat of
your heart, the air, and each others presence.
