Gone

I came home from school
to the news that he left
Ran Away
everyone was crying
hoping he was okay
out there
sleeping in the streets
with clothing only as light as a feather
7 long days
7 long nights
nightmares of the worst
thoughts of all the unthinkables
he was gone
7 long days
7 long nights
nothing we could do
he had left us
that's all we knew...
