This key, part of me.
Where one sees rust, I see priceless
memory,
He left me this root to our family tree,
And when his soul left earth,
he left me this key.

This key, part of me.
He left this part of him to me,
for safe keeping.
My Grandpa's priceless memory.
My true friend,
Until the bitter end
