I miss you like how a flower would miss the sun

How Do I Miss You

I miss you like how a flower would miss the sun
How it envies the sky even after the day has gone.
How it prays the night to end till the dawn would break
It will stand waiting and not care how long it would take.

I miss you like a tree would cry for rain.
How it wishes for a dropp to run on its veins.
How it joys when the wind blows and clouds might just come
It braces itself and as it sings, its leaves begins to hum.

I miss you like how the sea embraces the wind,
How it folds its waves, for a second just to have it pinned.
How it rushes the distance to meet on the shore,
It will never tire just to have you even more.

I miss you and there are no words enough to say
How much nor how long could not even describe this dismay,
How hard nor how deep to each day I could just bare,
It would be much less complicated if only you I could stare.
